- M.Salayi is a professional portrait and landscape painter. Art has been apart of his life since an early childhood. While he started his initial art training,he focused on drawing sharply. But predominantly a self taught artist. Has been the artist in the residence at several galleries in canada. An active participant in waterloo arts community centre,a receiver of several awards for his works like, he had been awarded second prize winner in a side walk show competition in kitchener ON in 1999.Interviewed by many medias such as Rogers' Channel in KW in 2004 Multi medium artist painting with(Oils,Acrylics,Watercolors,Colored pencils). Salayi producing his art in a representational style.A genre that is combining impressionism and realism together with brave brush strokes.He's equally a painter and an art instuctor,taught art in Wellington Centre for continuing education in Guelph,Waterloo arts Community centre ,Northgate Lion Senior Recreation Centre.He has many solo exhibitions in his country and has had several exhibitions abroad ,his paintings and portraits are collected through out Canada,and internationally.
